Anurag Singh Thakur, who was the President of the former Yuva Morcha of the Bharatiya Janata Party, has been inducted into the cabinet by Prime Minister Modi and has shown his trust. 

Anurag Singh Thakur took charge of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. Anurag Singh Thakur had earlier also held the charge of Minister of State for Finance. Anurag Singh Thakur hails from Himachal Pradesh and is a member of Lok Sabha four times.
On 29 July 2016, he became the first BJP MP to become a regular commissioned officer in the Territorial Army. Anurag Singh Thakur has also been the President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) from May 2015 to February 2017.

अनुराग सिंह ठाकुर हिमाचल प्रदेश के आते हैं और वे चार बार लोकसभा के सदस्य हैं।
२९ जुलाई २०१६ को, वह प्रादेशिक सेना में एक नियमित कमीशन अधिकारी बनने वाले भाजपा के पहले सांसद बने।
अनुराग सिंह ठाकुर मई 2015 से फरवरी 2017 तक भारतीय क्रिकेट कंट्रोल बोर्ड (बीसीसीआई) के अध्यक्ष भी रह चुके हैं।
