Anurag Singh Thakur, who was the President of the former Yuva Morcha of the Bharatiya Janata Party, has been inducted into the cabinet by Prime Minister Modi and has shown his trust.  Anurag Singh Thakur took charge of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. Anurag Singh Thakur had earlier also held the charge of Minister of State for Finance. Anurag Singh Thakur hails from Himachal Pradesh and is a member of Lok Sabha four times.
